The Week I Remembered How To Live A Happy Life

weekOn Tuesday, August 16th 2016, I returned to work after being on holidays for nine days. I didn’t go abroad but as you know, it was my birthday and my birthday is a time I refuse to work. Because my birthday would’ve always been during the summer holidays, I never had to attend school or college on it so I thought to myself, why should I work? I also hadn’t a consecutive amount of days off work in quite a while, so this time off was really needed. But during this time off, I ended up living. Yes, living and this living made me realise that a huge change is needed in this 24-year-old’s life.

#DeiseBloggers “Mad Hatter Tea Party” In Aid Of Pieta House

Mad-Hatter

If you’ve been following my Facebook page or my Snapchat, you may have seen that I attended the Deise Bloggers “Mad Hatter Tea Party” in aid of Pieta House on Sunday, August 7th in the Kazbar, Waterford. The event was the second blogger event that I have attended and it was absolutely amazing! It was great to see all of the bloggers from Waterford, learn a number of skincare, make-up and hair tips and of course, have a tea party! Unfortunately, I completely forgot to save my pictures from my Snapchat story but luckily, Blathnaid from Wildflower Diaries was on hand with her camera and took gorgeous photographs of the day. Keep reading to find out what went on during the event…

August 9th, 2016

9th

The 9th of August is a pretty significant day in my books to be honest. Why? Well, it’s my birthday so obviously that’s something, but the 9th of August means so much more to me than just that. It’s a day where so many things happened, mostly before I was born but were still acknowledged and celebrated. Although I eagerly await my birthday every year, yet dread my age going up, this year I’m feeling somewhat indifferent about it. I’m going to celebrate my birthday two days beforehand just so I can really, I guess, deal with the 9th of August. Yeah, this post is going to end up being hard to write…

Review: Glove Your Body Dual Facial Cleansing & Exfoliation Pad

cleaA couple of weeks ago, I was lucky enough to be sent the Dual Facial Cleansing & Exfoliation Pad from Glove Your Body. You may remember from my review on the Bondi Sands Tan & Glove Your Body Mitts post, how much I loved their tanning glove and exfoliation mitt which I had purchased in Mulligans Pharmacy a couple of months ago. The Exercise Revelations

reve

It’s been over two months since I started my personal training sessions with Russell Fitness and honestly, I have no idea where the time has gone! I’ve had my ups and downs in the past couple of weeks as we all know, but each time I picked myself up and got back on the horse again. In these past few weeks, I’ve also had a couple of revelations which I believe are things that people need to be aware of when starting on a healthy eating/losing weight/fitness journey, and that’s what today’s blog post is going to be about!

The Dancing Journey

Untitled-2-Recovered-Recovered-Recovered
Starting The Ciara Chronicles was a huge step for little old me. It was my way of addressing and coming to terms with suffering with a mental illness, along with wanting to change my life. After almost one year later, I can honestly say that I’ve made such huge, positive changes in my life and starting this blog is something I’m so proud of.

Through documenting my life events, feelings, goals and changes, it’s quite enjoyable to look over my past posts just to see how far I’ve come on my journey to self-improvement and that’s what today’s post is going to be about. A reflection on how my attitude towards dancing has changed since my blog post, Expectations VS Reality: Dance, which was written on the 1st of October 2015.
