Hello everyone and welcome back to another review of some of the products I received at the Deise Bloggers event back in August. I apologise for how long it’s taking me to get through everything but when you’ve got a full time job and other commitments, blogging sometimes has to take a halt. I’ve been dying to write this post as I will be reviewing the Art Deco Most Wanted Contouring Palette and the Sleek Make-Up Dancing till Dusk Palette. These two products have become the most used items in my make-up bag since the event. Keep reading to find out why!
Hello everyone and welcome back to another review on The Ciara Chronicles! In today’s post, I will be reviewing the Salon Acrylic French Nails by Kiss stick-on nails, a product I received at the Deise Bloggers event back in August. As I go through phases of getting my nails done, doing my own nails, leaving bits of nail polish on my nails for weeks or not doing anything with my nails at all, it’s taken me a bit of time to get around to trying out these. Keep reading to see what I thought!
Hair, hair, hair! For the last couple of years, my hair is all I think about. My friend once pointed out to me that when I get down in the dumps, I tend to change my hair. It’s my way of doing something to lift my mood and in the past, I’ve done quite dramatic things to my locks. I went through a phase one summer of dying my hair different colours almost every two to three weeks, then a couple of months later, I decided to chop it all off. Hair grows! But one of the reasons I decided to cut it all off was because it was in awful condition. I thought that I may as well start again since as I said, it grows.
I love getting the time to play around with new make-up products because it allows me to get my creativity juices flowing. At the Deise Bloggers event, we received a couple of bits and bobs from the sponsors to try out and that’s exactly what I did last weekend. You may have seen the two selfies I posted on my Facebook and Instagram last Saturday and Sunday, but if you haven’t keep reading to find out what they turned out like, what I used and how I like to accentuate different parts of my face.
Hi everyone! As you know, I’ve not been feeling myself over the last few weeks and because of feeling that way, I’ve not been up to blogging at all really. After writing my last post I have been feeling a good bit better, even if everything isn’t 100% or resolved, but I feel like I can write again. I’ve got loads of blogs to write and publish over the next few weeks, mostly reviews of the products from the goody bags we received at the Deise Bloggers event last month and I’m going to start with my skincare one today.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last two or three months, you probably have heard of Ireland’s latest favourite tan, Bellamianta. The one and only, Suzanne Jackson from So Sue Me was raving about it so, I guess we all had to jump on the bandwagon and see what the hype was about. As I had only recently purchased the Bondi Sands Tan prior to the Bellamianta hype, I was a bit reluctant to buy it as they’re not exactly cheap but after my mother buying and applying it before her holidays, I knew I had to give it a go. Keep reading to find out how I got on.
You may have seen on my Facebook page that I got HD Brows done by the wonderful Maria in Aura recently. I’ve been going to Aura for as long as I can remember and Maria even did my tan, nails and make-up for the first Debutante Ball I went to back in 2009. I also completed my work experience there back in 2013 when I was studying Beauty Therapy. I think it’s clear to see that I just won’t go anywhere else for my beauty treatments, even though I’m qualified in the majority of them myself. It’s just always nicer to get your treatments done by somebody else!
